Sketches: Relationships between 2 sketches

Sketches: Relationships between 2 sketches

Sketches: Relationships between 2 sketches

(OP)
I am trying to create an organic assembly by sketching and then adding in driven parts.

So far I have two sketches - one in one plane and another in a perpendicular plane.  If I enter the sketch mode for the second sketch and attempt to create an endpoint relationship, it finds the endpoint of the line I desire but does not find any endpoints on my first sketch (except some apparently arbitrary points which seem irrelevant).

If I attempt to create endpoint relationships in the sketch mode of the first sketch, it finds the endpoints but doesn't find anything to do with the second sketch.

I am certainly not a pro user so any and all help will be appreciated!

RE: Sketches: Relationships between 2 sketches

Answering your second point first, if you are using traditional mode (ie history based) you cannot relate one feature to other feature that was created after it.

For the first point, have you got end point location on in Intellisketch?
