Fit to view doesn't work as you expect on some parts

In NX 6 I have a few assemblies where when I fit to view (Ctrl+F) the objects appear off to one side or the other of the display and not centered in the middle.  It is like there is some hidden object or something in the view on the opposite side of the part.  But nothing is hidden.   Have you ever seen this behavior before?  What could be causing it?

RE: Fit to view doesn't work as you expect on some parts

Look for a point or a CSYS.  Note that the fit is based on the 'bounding box' around the piece parts so it's NOT an exact science.  Also look for components which may not have been loaded (their bounding box will still be there).

Turns out that the problem was due to an assembly constraint, that for some reason had one end way off in space when it was a simple touch constraint between to components.  Problem is supposed to be fixed in NX 8.
