Hole Wizard automatically "Fixes" location of first Point

(OP)
SW2006 & SW2010 on different computers...

It seems the HoleWizard wants to place the first hole and make it Fixed...the question is "why?"

I know I've run across this before and was able to change something to stop it from doing that, but I can't seem to find where the heck the mode is changed.

RE: Hole Wizard automatically "Fixes" location of first Point

You probably have the Snap to Grid option enabled.

RE: Hole Wizard automatically "Fixes" location of first Point

Checked the Snap To options and Grid wasn't checked on.
Checked the Major Grid spacing, then took out the Minor spacings...still no change.

Shut off all Snap-To options, and the HW still Fixes the first point.

Seem like it was something that was not so intuitive....and I really can't recall for sure if it was even in the Tools>Options settings

Another pic with Grid On, but no Snap-To of any kind.

Can you post a sample part?
