Video display check

(OP)
Hi all!
Does anyone know how to check the display status from the computer?
I've been asked for an "anti-rob" utility in order to check if anyone
stole the monitor. It seems silly ... but it happens!
How can I check if the monitor is still there (of course, there won't
be anyone watching the computer)?
THANKS a lot.

RE: Video display check

Instead of trying to get some software, if there is any that can do this available, tell 'em to purchase a lockdown kit, which you can use to secure the monitor and base unit to the desk or wall. generally quite cheap, considering its a couple of bits of high-tensile wire cable.
