click on the slab you wish to offset and go to assign-->slab--->offset

In addition to the step mentioned by handex you have to do also release to the slab edge.
select the slab then go to assign-->slab-->edge release

I dont think it is as easy as that. You have to release only 1 edge of the slab that has a drop but not slab release. You have to make use of line release instead
