Scale a block to fit a drawing

Scale a block to fit a drawing

I have a very large block that I wish to insert into a B sized drawing. How do I go about scaling the block to fit the B sized drawing? When I try to insert the block I see the property manager gives me a scale box under parameters but I can't seem to scale the block regardless of the number I enter.

RE: Scale a block to fit a drawing

Are you able to post the block here for testing?

When I wish to scale parts for a drawing I enter a ratio. I'm not able to enter a ratio for blocks.

RE: Scale a block to fit a drawing

Input the ratio as Numerator/Denominator.

Example if you need a ratio of 1:2, then key in 1/2 and final value will be 0.5 (which means reduction in size by 50%).

I hope this make some sense and solves the need.
