spacer at masonry veneer

(OP)
i wrote this thread already but don't know what happened? anyways... is it better to use steel spacers to connect deck to masonry veneer stud wall or just stop the masonry and restart below the deck level. i have read the other thread but wanted to get more input on the spacers application. i have heard some inspectors will not even consider the spacer application but want free standing.  I always appreciate your response. thank you.

RE: spacer at masonry veneer

Maybe it's just me, but I have no idea what you are talking about.  Perhaps a sketch would help.
