Unbalanced Anchor.

Unbalanced Anchor.

Hello Dear friends,

In a multi loop piping systems, you may have a situation that the forces coming from the two adjacent loops to the anchor in the middle are not the same and we have an unbalanced anchor.

Is there any limitation for this unbalanced load or if the structural folks design it for that load, we are OK?

Any comment is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Frank

RE: Unbalanced Anchor.

Unbalanced anchor loads are the net piping load imparted by the anchor to whatever structure that anchor is attached to.  Tell the structural guys.
