RE: Knowledge Fusion Vs Check Mate and HD3D

Knowledge Fusion is a KBE programming langauage.
CheckMate is a database checking program that verifies aspects of youir model/assembly/drawing conforms to your established standards.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for your answer
For example I would like to check if all bend radius of a tube respect a minimun value regarding of the thickness.
Do I have to use Knowledge Fusion or CheckMate ?

Haven't used CheckMate, but that sort of design rule check may be too complex for CheckMate. From what I know of KF, it should be able to do it, but it will take more work to program.

Actually Checkmate does have a built-in test for 'Minimum Bend Radius' but it's only applicable if you used the Routing module to create your models.

It has two options; one checks the bend radius as a factor of the diameter of the stock, and the other against the minimum radius as specified by the user in Routing preferences.

If you need some other tests, you will need to program them using KF, but once done they can then be added to Checkmate so that you can use them like any other test.

Hi,
Thanks for your answers.
One last question: I have a MACH2 license. Is it enough to upgrade to MACH3 license for both knowledge fusion and checkmate ?
