I'm looking at using Ion sensing coils to individually trim fuel per cylinder and was wondring if anybody has any experience with the output generated from the bosch COP ion sensing coils they list in there motorsport catalog.  Is it a generic 0-5v signal?

Has anybody had any experience with any type of Ion sensing coil?

RE: Ion Sensing coils

I thought they were only used for knock & misfire sensing, I'm not aware of using them for A/F trim.

From what I've read they measure the CH3 ion that dissociates within the chamber. So the current must be both mixture dependant and chamber pressure dependant.
