Hello everybody!
Could someone explain me a good reason for creating a Sketch in Drafting environment(Unigraphics)?
Thanks a lot!

It is also useful for creating geometry that is only needed in the context of drafting; stuff that you don't really want in the model. I'm thinking of situations where you are dimensioning a conical feature or an angled face and want to create the dimension "over rolls". The rolls aren't part of the model geometry so I just draw them in using the drafting sketch tool.
I have also used it to define areas that require special treatment of some kind. I'll sketch in the boundaries using a phantom line type and then hatch inside the sketched boundary.
I believe you can also use it for creating boundaries for broken out sections.
Not a feature I use every single day but the drafting module would feel very limiting to me without it.

You can hide some dimensions or suppress by expression
