Max. fr values in UG-37

(OP)
Hi all,

I'm trying to clearly stablish reinforcement needs for both cylindrical vessels and unstayed flat heads, according to UG-37.

According to UG-41(a) limits, fr1,fr2,fr3 and fr4 values to be considered in UG-37 shall never be over 1, isn't it? If vessel/head wall was made from AISI 316L but nozzle was made from AISI 316 (with S values over those of AISI 316L), no repad, fr1 and fr2 values should be stablished as 1. Is it like that? Could you please confirm/add any comment on this?

Thanks in advance,

J.I.Gómez

RE: Max. fr values in UG-37

Confirmed.

You are using SA materials - not AISI, right?
