Hi everyone,

I am a newbie and trying to run the Rigid projectile impacting eroding plate example in Abaqus and I am getting the following error message;

WARNING: The following keywords/parameters are not yet supported by the input file reader:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*ELFILE
*FILEOUTPUT
*NODEFILE
*SHEARFAILURE
The model "pl3d_erode_ccs" has been imported from an input file.

Can anyone help?
Input file is attached.

RE: Abaqus Rigid projectile impacting eroding plate example

Hi paperboy,

I assume you are trying to import the existing Abaqus model (input file, .inp) into CAE.  There are some keywords that are a few versions behind and the graphical preprocessor (Abaqus CAE) does not handle them yet.  You'll only be able to submit the job from the command prompt and then you should be able to view the results in Abaqus Viewer.

Hope this helps,
-Dan

You can also remove the keywords from the INP, import then edit the keywords and add them back in.  I hope this helps.
