Capacitor switching at low side of the transformer

Capacitor switching at low side of the transformer

(OP)
Hi

I have completed a study to add a 66 kV Capacitor bank at the 66 kV bus supplying load to a mine due to volage support issues. Due to long delivery time for cap banks, another way to support the load (increase voltage) is to connect a 10 MVA 66/25 kV transformer (High Voltage Padmount  PTI's high Voltage padmount Transformer)and connect a 25 kV cap bank on the low voltage (25 kV) side.
This way 25 kV voltage can be controlled and it would eventually control the 66 kV bus voltage.

Please advise if there are switching issues that should be looked at besides regular inrush and TRV etc. Does it complicate switching with having a tranformer before a cap bank.

Thanks
