missing midside nodes

Hi,

I am trying to generate INTER20X elements using CZMESH commands. but i keep getting the error message "no cohesive element was generated between solid elements xxx and xxx (and possibly others) because of missing midside node(s) or other connectivity issues"

i unselected my area mesh element type before issuing the CZMESH command. Maybe that's the reason why but without unselecting the area mesh elements i would not possibly generate any at all because i'm using different element types for area & volume meshing

Thanks everyone. any help will be much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Ee Lian

btw, my model is three nested ring cylinders. i'm trying to generate interface elements between those rings, ie two interface layers and three rings.
