Custom format selection when inserting new sheet?

Custom format selection when inserting new sheet?

Custom format selection when inserting new sheet?

(OP)
When I insert a new sheet into a drawing I can't figure out how to select one of my custom ones. I've saved drawing templates (.drwdot extension) and sheet formats (.slddrt extension) but no matter what I do I can't get a new sheet with my title block. I'm having to copy the first sheet, paste it in at the end, then delete all info on that sheet.

When I saved my custom sheet format and selected it during sheet creation, I got all of the info from my custom title block, but it was overlaid on the borders of their standard title block...

RE: Custom format selection when inserting new sheet?

Tools->Options->Default Templates. Make sure that 'Prompt user to select document template' is selected.
Also, after inserting a new sheet, you can right click in the graphics area and select 'Properties'. From there, you should see a list of your available sheet formats. If you don't, make sure you have your paths correct in Tools->Options->System Options->File Locations.
