3D sketching, changing planes

Used to be, when I insert a line in 3D sketch, I press "tab" and it switches to different plane.

Now when I tab in same situation nothing happens.  I do not know when or how this changed.  How do I restore this functionality? thank you.

I am only having this trouble in one document, other ones work.  I have tried restarting SW and the computer.

Yea, it's definitely 3D.  Inserting a line it would default to ZX plane and from there I couldnt change it.
These are tubing runs ..... two circles swept on a 3D path,  dozens of them all just "saved-as" from one original file.  Only one of the files behaved like this.

A moot point now because it was a simple part to remake.  Was hoping it was a document property but guess it's just another bug.   thumbsdown

RE: 3D sketching, changing planes

Huh, so one file acting up qualifies as a bug? Sounds more like a corrupt file to me.

RE: 3D sketching, changing planes

FYI,I had this problem twice...each time I saved, closed SW and restarted SW and the problems went away. SW 2010 SP3.1. I'm now on SP4.0 but have not done any 3D sketch sweeps so I can't verify if it was fixed or not.
