Aligning drawing views permanently

Aligning drawing views permanently

(OP)
how do i align drawign views. doing it leke so: Edit>View>Align View but not sure how to use options. would like drawings to be fixed when i drag a projected view from main view. is this possible?

RE: Aligning drawing views permanently

Sorry, a view cannot be linked to another view so that it moves when the referenced view moves.  However you can select more than one view and the move them together so that they remain aligned.

Also you do not have go to the Edit -> View function to move or align a view, just select the view with the cursor and hold it down to drag it to where you need it to be and as you pass by another view it will 'snap' into alignment automatically.
