How to Qualify Inconel 625 CRO onto 316L SAW on 516 Gr 70

How to Qualify Inconel 625 CRO onto 316L SAW on 516 Gr 70

(OP)
I have a Question on how Qualify Inconel 625 CRO (Automated GMAW) onto 316L Strip Welded SAW on 516 Gr 70 Plate. I have a client that needs to have his 3mm 316L cladding overlayed with 3mm of Inconel 625, I use automated GMAW. The question has now surfaced, how does one qualify it:
1) On SA 516 Gr 70,
2) On SA-240 Gr 316L or
3) Does one Overlay 516 with 316L and do it that way.....
The cladding will be on 20" and smaller Nozzles, so delamination is not a concern.........
