Masterpac breakers

Masterpac breakers

Masterpac breakers

(OP)
Testing the MasterPac type breakers, I had a failure with the Square D S33595 tester on testing the first breaker, it went through the first 2 test, but failed on the 3rd test. Now everytime you plug it in any breaker, the tester fails. The cheap cable is installed correctly!
I seam to have trouble with any support, $33,000 for a piece of mal-funtion tester!
Any advice???????

RE: Masterpac breakers

Difficult to conclude from your post, whether it is the equipment malfunctioning or the operator!

What is meant by "tester fails"? What exactly happens?
Was the operator trained by the factory to use the tester?

In the end you need to work with Square D.

RE: Masterpac breakers

Lots of problems with those cables, and you need to be sure to have the right cable, there are a few different ones.

RE: Masterpac breakers

Don't you think for a moment that cable is "Cheap".
I have seen people pay close to $700 for that little puppy.

Please explain further what is happening.

RE: Masterpac breakers

You must be getting ripped off in the USA. In Australia we only pay $699 for these cables.

FAAPete, have a look at the pins on the cable and make sure you haven't broken one or two off, as that is quite easy to do, as I know from experience *cough*.
