B31.3 or API520 for PSV piping

B31.3 or API520 for PSV piping

(OP)
Hi All, I would really appreciate any help on this matter. I am sizing PSV piping system for a NG processing facility.
According to B31.3,322.6.2 "Pressure Relief Discharge Piping from pressure relieving safety devices shall be designed to facilitate drainage". Does this mean that a bleed valve must be installed on discharge line?
As there is no such requirement by API 520, which standard I should use first?

RE: B31.3 or API520 for PSV piping

Piping from the relief valve's discharge, if the design can collect liquids or condensates,  must be sloped to a drain point.

RE: B31.3 or API520 for PSV piping

Also refer to API STD 521 for Pressure-relieving and Depresuring Systems (identical to ISO 23251).
