I was told previously that only one of the two aftercoolers for a 1000 scfm screw type compressor needs to have a crn #.One of the coolers is for the air and the other is for the oil.My question is would the crn approved cooler be for the air or oil side? The compressor is set for 100psi w/ the safety v/v setting at 125 psi. The compressor mawp is 180 psi. Is compressed air classified as an expansible fluid?

RE: expansible fluid

What code are you working to?

Then in the definitions sections, look it up.

I'm sorry I not much help.

RE: expansible fluid

Compressed air is an expansible fluid.

Regards,

SNORGY.
