I want to find out creep & rupture values for SA 335 P91 pipe

I want to find out creep & rupture values for SA 335 P91 pipe

I want to find out creep & rupture values for SA 335 P91 pipe

(OP)
How to verify that Sr & Sc values given by customer in Test Certificate are matching with the ASME code.

I have gone through ASME Sec II Part A SA 335 specification but nowhere it's there. Even in ASME Sec II Part D only allowable stress at different temperatures are given.

These pipes are going to be used in power plant.

We refer ASME B 31.1

Please guide me whether in any code of ASME or ASTM these values at different temperatures are given or not?

If yes than in which code?

Thanking you in anticipation

What are Sr and Sc? Never seen them used in ASME B&PV Code or Piping Codes.

RE: I want to find out creep & rupture values for SA 335 P91 pipe

Sr = rupture stress
Sc = creep stress

Ok, Thanks. The time dependent allowable stresses in Appendix A of B31.1 are values based on submitted creep deformation and stress rupture data that the committee felt were representative of Grade P91 at the time the material was approved for use.

I would go to ASME Section II, Part D, Appendix 1 and review the requirements for establishing allowable stress values. Given Sr and Sc values convert to allowable stresses and compare
