Dell Precision 530MT we are using as a server

We are currently using it as the server for Catia V5r19, UG NX 5,6 & 7 as well as Ideas NXi5.  I'm not anxious to switch it out.

Officially it's not supported, but if you contact GTAC and you get the right person, they may be able to help you.

And for the record, it's not an NX nor a Siemens PLM issue but rather the people who supply the licensing tools who are responsible for OS support.

RE: Will NX7.5 License Server Run on Windows 2000 workstation?

the license server nx7.5 is running on a Windows (Server) 2000, may have problems you won't get support - thats all
Most cases you have problems with the windows 2000 system cause by application need the donet extensions from the WIN 2000 OS, Microsoft doesn't support it anymore - there are unsupported workarounds in the www - google search....
hope it helps
