UG NX6 to NX7.5.0
UG NX6 to NX7.5.0
(OP)
Alright guys, I am currently moving to 7.5.0 (eventually to 7.5.1) but I cannot figure out how to move my layout settings (toolbar locations/arrangements) from NX6.
I have had no problem using the user.mtx file when moving my toolbar layout to my laptop and other workstations running NX6, but NX7.5 doesn't seem to recognize it or at least will not load it.
(yes, I have copied and moved it to my "C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Unigraphics Solutions\NX75" folder already)
Is there a registry entry that I need to alter for this to happen correctly or is NX6's UI layout not compatible with NX7.5's?
Maybe The name of the settings file needs to be altered?
Any help would be awesome as I am in the middle of upgrading 5 work stations to 7.5 and do not want to be tasked with manually setting them back up!
Thanks!

Should I save it to a custom role?

Give us a copy from your NX6 log file to have a look at your customization. (Start NX6 then Help/NX log file)

Sorry for the delay. I check you logfile and doesn't see any special customization.
Could you post a screenshot of your toolbar ?
