thread790-266935: Inventor 11 and Windows 7
The referenced thread was closed, but without any resolution. Has anybody been successful installing Inventor 11 (not 2011 - Series 11) on Windows 7?

I understand the software is going on obsolete, but my company is not going to upgrade any time soon, and I have two fairly new desktop machines solidly running XP SP3 with top-of-the line processors/vid cards, etc...a significant investment in something that works well for our purposes.

Really just looking for the one guy who's been successful...any help?

So they will spend money on some things but not the more important things like software renewal? There have also been big advances since R11, I would be at least 25% more productive, maybe more using the latest version. Check the ROI and they are basically losing money.

Sorry haven't tried R11 on W7. I might give it a try though if I can find it somewhere..
