AISC Design Examples

AISC Design Examples

(OP)
I attended an AISC Live Webinar today on the Uniform Force Method for braced connection design.  The presenter informed us that a "Steel Construction Manual Design Examples (v.13.2)" exists.  I am having trouble locating/downloading this document on the internet.

Does anyone have information on this or a link from where I could download it?  Thank you!

__FYI: The presenter directed us toward version 13.2 of this document and said specifically, "STAY AWAY FROM VERSION 13.1"
However, he never actually said where to get it from (or I missed it...)

Thanks again for the help!!

RE: AISC Design Examples

Interesting. I thought the latest one was v13.1. I don't know if 13.2 exists, atleast I don't find it in AISC's site. There is a shapes database v13.2.

Unfortunately I know.  I searched all over AISC's site and couldn't find it anywhere.
Maybe it's yet to come?
Maybe it needs to be purchased?
Any members out there work for AISC??

RE: AISC Design Examples

Version 13.1 is the most current version for the design examples. The presenter was mistakenly told the wrong version number. As slickdeals alluded to, I think the confusion stemmed from the latest database version. Sorry for any inconvenience.

RE: AISC Design Examples

I listened to the webinar today also. Dr. Thornton is great.

"there goes my arrow again, dammit!"

I agree about Dr. Thornton and his arrows. That definitely made the presentation more entertaining.

Bones206, if you heard the webinar yesterday as well, did you hear about the version 13.2? Did I misunderstand Dr. Thornton?

RE: AISC Design Examples

He had one person in his ear saying 13.1 and another saying 13.2. I'm guessing that the guy who said 13.2 was misinformed.
