Hide Axis / Plane Labels

Hide Axis / Plane Labels

Hide Axis / Plane Labels

(OP)
I've been working on a part model that uses strictly planes and axes (about 50 of them) for reference - no solid bodies. Each plane needs to be shown and individually named. However, with all the labels the drawing is exceptionally cluttered, especially when I zoom out since the label font remains the same size but the drawing becomes smaller. Does anyone know how to either hide or decrease the size of the plane labels? I'm using SW 2009. Thanks!

RE: Hide Axis / Plane Labels

I don't believe that can be changed.

Maybe submit an ER to have more control over the plane titles (size, show/hide, etc)

RE: Hide Axis / Plane Labels

2mining,

Try unchecking the setting under "Document Properties" to "Always display text at the same size".

This may help.

DraftingMan,

Thanks! I messed around with some of those settings, and I was able to make the axis labels smaller, but the plane labels didn't change. So only half my problem is resolved, but it is already a lot easier to look at.
