Catia v5r1 + Windows 2000 install problems

(OP)
I am trying to install Catia v5r1 on PIII with Windows
2000.

During installation I keep getting message:
Windows NT Service Pack 3 required for installation.

What's the problem? Isn't W2k built on NT?

RE: Catia v5r1 + Windows 2000 install problems

I believe catia V5r5 was the first version develpoed for W2K before that it was developed on Win NT or Unix

RE: Catia v5r1 + Windows 2000 install problems

You should forget R1 and use R9 ...
ask IBM about new CD...

RE: Catia v5r1 + Windows 2000 install problems

Have you got at least SP2 for W2K on your machine?

RE: Catia v5r1 + Windows 2000 install problems

Just right click on setup exe and chose Win NT in compatibility options. Now setup will start without problems. That's it ;)

RE: Catia v5r1 + Windows 2000 install problems

I dont get any compatibility options in properties when right clicking on setup.exe any help?
