I have to replace an outocoupler

I have to replace an outocoupler

(OP)
hello, I have a monitor samsung syncmaster 400nb , which has an optocoupler burned, the part number of the device is l 9805, I can't find it in the market, so I would like to know what similar optocoupler can I put to replace the last one broken.
I have same models belonged to a network circuit.

RE: I have to replace an outocoupler

Hi GMR,
The part number you gave looks like the manufacturing date code of the coupler. You need to get the part number, which
goes like IL1 , 4n25, ILXX . Maybe the board uses more than
one coupler of the same make; in that case you get part number. The part numbers I have listed above are of Siemens orgin, but I think your Samsung may use Japanese couplers.
In case your coupler is burnt beyond recognition, ONLY CHOICE left is to go to some junk shops ( I mean computer/electronics flea market ) to look for such models
and obtain the part number. Good Luck,
I am sure you will survive this...
Joy to you.

RE: I have to replace an outocoupler

If you have more OC-s in the circuit, you can measure
the working one and find one with similar data if not
then trace the connected circuits .
