Model an airfoil using 2d plate elements

Model an airfoil using 2d plate elements

(OP)
Hi,

I am looking for some starter tips on how to model a tapered airfoil with variable pressure using 2d plate elements. I can create the airfoil in solidworks but repairing the geometry in abaqus seems taxing. It is a tapered airfoil and so the root is larger than the tip and it needs to be cut into ~15 sections with a different force applied to each section...

Any help would be great thanks!

Does anyone know how I would go about modelling this? I mean, abaqus doesn't seem to have a loft function.
