What is the difference between SAW and ERW

Could someone please explain to me what is the difference between ERW and SAW welding. Also what are the advantages and disadvantages for both of the process. Thank very much

RE: What is the difference between SAW and ERW

These are of  course dramatically different processes and many texts are necessary to describe them (and SAW =DSAW =UOE +/- and it may have spiral seam). But from a very general perspective: ERW tends to be thinner wall, smaller diameter than SAW. For NDE, UT is used with both while RT is only used on SAW and EMI only used on ERW.
