Dead Links

(OP)
Hi. I am in the process of switching to 3 from 6. I have this issue where all of my links go dead when I move a sub assembly and I cant get them to update.

I have a dieshoe assembly from my library and it is expression driven. Once I start adding fasteners and whatnot if I have to move the dieshoe....all links to it die. I try and do an update and nothing. I find that I have to go back one at a time edit every single link. I don't understand why this is. In 3 it always just updated.

This is costing me huge amounts of time.
Anyone else ave this happen. Is there a setting I am missing?

Thanks.

RE: Dead Links

This was fixed in NX6.0.5.3 MP4.

PR1795905 & PR1798227: The problem in Assemblies where legacy wave links were broken is fixed.

RE: Dead Links

I can assure you, broken links are NOT fully fixed in NX6.0.5.3 MP4.

Some aspects yes, but others no.

The problem I am experiencing is with fresh links. New wave subtracts to the dieset are not updating when I move it around. Is this what you guys are talking about?

I am on 6.0.4.3

Thanks.
