I have an assembly of 3 components (End wall, End plate, and Closure Key) in Pro/mechanica. All the Constraints, Material properties, connections & some springs as Idealizations are assigned as per requirement. A pressure of 2000Psi is acting on the End wall and End plate as shown in attachment. When I check the result there was no displacement in the closure key. I need to calculate what is the strength required for the bolts on the closure key, or need to increase the no of holes on the closure key to withstand the opposite pressure.

What is holding the end plate in place? The closure key?  If anything, prom will "fuse" all of the assemblies together as if being welded.  If the closure key is what keeping the end plate in place, maybe add 1/8th inch gap all around the diamter of the end plate so that prom does not "fuse" it to the end wall.  Also, you don't have to apply pressure on both the end wall and end plate,but just on the end plate.

What are you trying to find?  The stress in the closure key?  If so, you may have to get rid of the end plate and have the pressure directly onto the closure key.  This should give you that moment your looking for.

Oh, also, you will have to put a "region area" on lip of the closure key so that you can precisely place the pressure.

Thanks a lot for your valuable support. Its working fine as you suggested. Still I need some more clarity. I used surface region to apply the force but the closure key is getting intersect with the end wall slot. If I am not wrong it should get deflect without intersecting, even though I used connection between them. Please check the attachment.

You may want to model just the end plate and constrian the back end of the end plate where it meets the key slot.  Again, use region area to precisly place the constraint where you want it.
