standard liquid flow rate in HYSYS

standard liquid flow rate in HYSYS

Hi all,

HYSYS reports two types of "liquid flowrates" in its conditions results tab as follows;

1. std ideal liq vol. flow in barrels/day

2. liq volume flow@std cond.in barrels/day

the values assigned to these two conditions are usually close. but my question is, what is the real difference between them? and when should one pick either of them?

Great that you found the answer for yourself but if you do  have other Hysys questions- post them in the Aspen Forum in  the Engineering Software for Chemical Engineering Area.
