There was a question on how to send GOOSE messages between different vendors

In the SCD file (that can be done with Digsi or with another 61850 engineering tool) you should create the input section ("GOOSE" receive) for the IED that has to receive the GOOSE message described in the sender IED.
The software tool of the receiver IED should import the SCD file, read the input section and instruct the IED to receive that GOOSE message (actually to receive the dataset in the input section, and the dataset is described in the GOOSE CONTROL BLOCK of the sender IED in the same SCD file).
If the SW tool of the receiving IED cannot do that, I don't think you can call that IED as "61850 compatible" because it doesn't support engineering at SCL file level.
