I see it is possible to export customer defaults to a spreadsheet - but they must be in either .def or .dpv format to be imported back in NX, which means that if the defaults are changed in a spreadsheet they cannot be imported back in.
Is there a way to either import customer defaults from a spreadsheet, or convert them from .xlsx format to .def?

RE: NX6 customer defaults

Jerry, try opening the dpv with excell, you will be asked a few questions, just continue. Then you can modify the spreadsheet and save it as an xml sheet. For ex. test.dpv.xml then just rename the file to test.dpv, ignore the warning. Import new dpv in NX.
What's the purpose if i may ask? Why not using the .def or .dpv files for import?

Best regards,

Michäël.
