Single trip / Dual trip Completions?

Single trip / Dual trip Completions?

Single trip / Dual trip Completions?

(OP)
Hi could anyone explain what is meant with Single / Dual trip completion?

Thanks

RE: Single trip / Dual trip Completions?

A bit more context would help, but I guess it's like is says: a single trip compltion is all installed in one trip into the well, a dual trip completion takes tow trips: perhpas the packer and tail pipe installed on pipe, and then the tubing stabbed into the packer?  Or it could refer to the shoot & pull way of completing a cased & cemented horizontal well (run guns on pipe, shoot, kill well, pull guns, run completion).
