Apparently, the NFPA is miffed about not enough access to the development of ICC2000.  They have decided to go right their own Building code, available in 2002.  See their website www.nfpa.org.

What does everyone think of this?

I've also posted this in the structural engineers forum.  The cross-reference is Thread507-2856.  (I hope this works.)
