310 wrought resistance to sigma
310 wrought resistance to sigma
(OP)
Does wrought 310 stainless also have a tendancy for sigma embrittlement? I am looking at it as an alternative to the HH and HK furnace tubesheets that I have. Otherwise, I'd be looking at RA 330 and Inco 800HT.

Your HK is 310H.
More Ni will get you better stability. Look at aging data for HN. But it will cost much more, that is how it goes.

Cast products HK,HT,HN series typically have carbon 0.25-0.3% (standard(0.5%max) and HH series 0.15-0.2% (standard 0.25%max),while sheet or other wrought products have carbon around 0.1%.
