Can any body advise which NDE will be better for finding out the remaining thickness of surface condenser tubes (ASTM A179 Material)

Remote field eddy current testing. Contact TesTex.

IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System) is another option. It uses compresion wave ultrasonics but is much slower than EC.

If you want to know the thickness of tubes made of A179 IRIS is better than ECT.
