Need Grip Face Edit Color Example

Hi All,
Grip Programming help needed.
Looking for a way to select tangent faces on a solid 3d shape and change there color. Thanks,
Jim

RE: Need Grip Face Edit Color Example

If you're expecting to be able to have a GRIP program select faces which are tangent to some other face, I'm not sure that's even possible.

How about CHAIN/'Select Face',OBJ,TANGO,RSP someway?

RE: Need Grip Face Edit Color Example

GRIP only supports the 'chaining' of curves, not faces.

I noticed unsew has a tangent face selection, just a thought, but UNSEW grip routine which would select the tangent faces then I could just stop and change the colors of the selection at this point in the program.  Thanks John,

RE: Need Grip Face Edit Color Example

I hope you're not using the term 'GRIP' to refer to some sort of general up-to-date programming tool in NX.  GRIP is a programming language which went into maintenance ONLY mode years before there were such things a Selection Intent or an UnSew function in NX.  With that in minde, there is NO way that GRIP will ever support these types of features and functions.
