B.O.M. Duplication

B.O.M. Duplication

B.O.M. Duplication

(OP)
Greetings,
I have modified bomtemp.xls only to add a material field.  After the bom (modified)is inserted into a drawing or assy and then printed, the bom has duplicating line items.  This also happens after a rebuild or a print preview.  I strongly suspect the bom that has been modified and not SW because I can delete the modified bom and insert bomtemp.xls and not have the duplication problems.

Any Clues?

RE: B.O.M. Duplication

Did you just insert the column? You kept that $end$ didn't you? You can't delete that. It's important that stays. If you need to remove the existing columns, it is better to hide those and do a simple Insert Column.

I can't see why it would duplicate the items in the bom after it is inserted into the Drawing. Could you send me the *.xls file and I'll try it here on my PC.
