Anyone have any idea of how you could light a small pulverized coal burner/ignitor with a high energy spark ignitor and then use that smaller flame to light a large coal burner?

I just was thinking about it and wondered what anyone else thought.

well... I have been thinking about this more... it should be possible with a high heat air delivery and a high volatile matter coal... any thoughts?

What you have described is reasonably "typical" (though using HFO initially, prior to igniting PF).
