Armored cable and class II

Armored cable and class II

Armored cable and class II

(OP)
I want to connect some armored cable to a class II ABS enclosure. What would be the correct way to do this and earth it without breaking the class II protection?

Many thanks,

Josh

RE: Armored cable and class II

Not really a nice way to tackle this one without introducing a metallic earth onto the Class II (double insulated) enclosure, which is what I think you're trying to avoid.

Can you terminate the cable conventionally at a suitable box and make the final connection to the Class II box by running cores inside a piece of Kopex?
