Constraints between datums are way out of scale
Constraints between datums are way out of scale
(OP)
I use a lot of Touch Align constraints between datums of different parts, especially early in development & for optical components. Unfortunately, the resulting symbols that are displayed are often way out of scale and seem to point to random places in space.
It makes it difficult to work with constraints when zoomed in.
Worse, it makes many of the view commands ineffective:
- Zoom All zooms way out beyond the actual geometry & does not center it.
- Rotate seems to rotate about the centroid of the bounding box, which includes the constraint symbols. As a result, if I'm zoomed in on the geometry and try to rotate the display about it, it flies off the screen instead.
Is there a fix for this, besides turning of the display of constraints? Can I manually resize the constraints, or cause them to regen to scale?
Thanks,
Rob

Is 7 versus 7.5 meaningful to this problem?
Thanks,
