Comp array slow

Comp array slow

I've discovered this earlier but it really annoys me. Why is NX getting very slow when using quite a large component array of lets say more then 50 components.
It's not workable anymore. Waiting for a minute every time you make another part of the assembly displayed. It seems that it's continuously updating the array.
Is this common?

RE: Comp array slow

I found out that a linear array makes it a little less slow then an instance array. ( I saw a topic about this question on Engtips).

With the instance arrays in it, it took 38 sec. to go back to the main assy.
With the linear arrays it took 24 sec.
And without arrays it took 10 sec.

I use NX6.
