In response to closed thread554-210324: weld symbols in drawings.

To remove the weld sequence # from the reference tail on a weld symbol created with Pro/Weld, you need edit the weld symbol and remove the reference text from the symbol.  To edit a weld symbol, from a drawing, go to format->symbol gallery->redefine and select the symbol you want to edit.  After editing, select "write" to save the updated symbol.

Note: the new symbol without the weld sequence will only be valid on new assemblies (i.e. existing assemblies using weld symbols created from Pro/Weld will not be updated and cannot be updated).
