NX6 - Components Array

NX6 - Components Array

NX6 - Components Array

(OP)
When constraining components to other components that are part of an array I sometimes get this - which is new to NX6:
'Some components are part of an array and their positions may not update correctly when move'
Seems that fully loading components does not help prevent this behavior.
Is there something changed in arrays behavior that we should be aware of to be able to avoid that thing to happen?

RE: NX6 - Components Array

Hi,
I found the same problem and I have just logged a call last week to gtac without any answer at this time.
Any idea John Baker ?
Didier

RE: NX6 - Components Array

Usually, I just delete the arrays to avoid these type of problems.  The components remain but the array goes away.

RE: NX6 - Components Array

Ok, but you can't use the dynamic move when placing constraints because all components with degree of freedom will move anywhere on the screen

RE: NX6 - Components Array

We are aware of the 'issues' being reported with respect to Component Arrays and are currently planning a significant enhancement/replacement of the existing function.
