GM teamcenter issue

GM teamcenter issue

GM teamcenter issue

(OP)
Hello, on certain machines, in NX5, 64 bit, connected to GM teamcenter, users here sometimes get, "Unhandled exception processing the current input part.  Failed with the message, memory access violation."

Memory access violation is the common phrase across all errors.   Siemens knows nothing about it.   Can anyone think of anything?

Thanks, Dean

RE: GM teamcenter issue

It might help to be as descriptive as possible.  I assume that the users aren't just sitting at the computer and error messages pop up out of the blue.  What are the users doing to initiate the error message?  Just opening part files?  Performing a modeling task?  A drafting task?  The more info you can provide, the better the help you may receive.

Have you tried to contact GM's Supplier Helpdesk about this issue?

Do you have thge latest maintenance release of NX5?

Hi, the easiest fix so far for this is to re-image the machine.   We serve NX so we try to stay even with our customer.   I appreciate everyone's ideas.
